Well with the wet weather and the promise of cooler days, most people are finished their holidays, and the tourist have slowed down. So now is a good time to get away, and have some quite time.
We went back to Agnes Water last weekend, there are 3 caravan parks. The main van park is on the beach front, close to town and very popular.
Discovery Coast Caravan & Camping Park is 5klms west of Agnes. Quite, nice, just a bit far out of town.
Workmans Beach Camping Area is only 1 klm out of Agnes via Spring Road. Suitable for small caravans, mostly for tents etc. Maximum stay 22 days. There are cold showers, no power, composting toilets and no dogs allowed. It is only .4 of a klm to the beach which makes the stay all worth while.

TIP OF THE WEEK:
Being prepared. Every caravan we buy old or new, I pull the wheels off and adjust the brakes. Clean, check and regrease the wheel bearings and get a spare set for the van. If I am out west and I do a bearing, I can replace it rather than having to wait for someone to order a new one for me. If you don't think you are capable of doing this job, take it to a mechanic but in having said that, we meet a couple at Coonabarabran
who had the wheel bearings on their van done by a mechanic. After 500klms one had collapsed and done alot of damage. They had spent 3 days waiting for parts. The good news is the garage covered all the costs. So you decide....
Cheers and Safe Travels
