Well we had a great weekend at the Borumba Deer Park near Imbil/Gympie.  We went to a 50th birthday party, the theme was 'The Rocky Horror Picture show'. As you will see from the photos, some people went to a great deal of trouble to make this a great weekend for the birthday girl. The deer park has some fantastic features, there are caravan sites as well as cabins, and beautiful sites for tents right next to a creek. The cabins are in another part of the park with plenty of open grassed area for group bookings that just want to camp nearby. Near the shop/office is a beautiful dance floor that was built by some Rock n Rollers. Along side that is eating area and cooking facilities (not your usual bbq). Close by is the Borumba Dam, a popular spot for skiing and fishing. You can visit their website

TIP OF THE WEEK:  Your First Aid Kit. 

The other day we were out and about and I cut my foot. We have a first aid kit in both cars and the caravan. But how often do we check them. They have the basic requirements to tick all the boxes to make them a first aid kit but the bandaids wont stick to themselves let alone you.
